Ridgemont Quiz Bowl Team Seeking Sponsors to Attend National Championship Tournament in Illinois
The Ridgemont Quiz Bowl team is looking for sponsors to help them get to the Small School National Quiz Bowl Tournament for small schools.
The Small School National Championship Tournament (SSNCT) is NAQT’s annual championship event for small high schools. The tournament features the top small school quiz bowl teams from across the United States.
The Ridgemont team earned a spot in the prestigious tournament that will be taking place April 25th through the 27th in Rosemont, Illinois.
This marks the first time that a school from Hardin County has qualified for the Very Small School Division of the tournament.
Quiz Bowl Coach Danielle Webber said it is estimated that the total cost of the trip will be approximately $5000.
That would cover tournament registration fees, hotel accommodations, round-trip travel and meals for the team.
