Rite Aid Begins Offering COVID Vaccines

KENTON, Ohio- February 24, 2021-

Rite Aid in Ada will start administering COVID-19 vaccines to those who are eligible in our community, by appointment only.

Jon Staschiak, RPh, Region Pharmacy Leader, notified Kenton Hardin Health Department that they were going to receive doses of Pfizer vaccine for distribution in accordance with the state eligibility guidelines. At this time those vaccines are available for individuals 65 years and older.

Vaccines are by appointment only and can be scheduled by visiting riteaid.com and clicking on “vaccine information” link, and then on the link “click here to view eligibility guide”, after reviewing the eligible group there includes a link to “schedule here”. Individuals can schedule an appointment through Saturday February 27th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at this time. Second doses will automatically be scheduled for 21 days after the first dose at the same time as the first dose appointment.
