Riverdale Welcomes New Superintendent

The Riverdale School District welcomed a new superintendent.

Greg Rossman stated that he is looking forward to meeting students, staff and families in the district.

He spent the last 17 years at Ridgedale Local Schools serving as Principal/Assistant Principal/Teacher and Coach.

Rossman said, “I grew up on a farm in Crawford County attending Colonel Crawford High School. In high school I was the FFA President, quarterback, and played basketball and baseball. After high school I played college basketball at Bluffton University while earning my bachelors degree. I then continued my education and earned my administrative degree and superintendent licensure from Ashland University. I have spent the last 17 years at Ridgedale Local Schools serving as Principal/Assistant Principal/Teacher and Coach. I will celebrate my 14th wedding anniversary with my wife Lora this fall. We are the proud parents of our 22 year old son Cole who is a police officer in Richwood, as well as our son Lincoln who will be starting the 7th grade this fall.”

Rossman added that his is proud to be joining the Falcon family, “I am very honored and excited to be named the new Superintendent of Riverdale Local School District. I look forward to meeting the students, staff, and families of the Riverdale community. I am a high energy, passionate, dedicated educator, striving to improve student performance through instructional leadership to enhance preparation of our graduates as they choose their “E”: Enrollment, Enlistment, Employment.”
