Dispatchers from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office have received phone calls today in regards to a scam.

Callers have reported they are being contacted by the sheriff’s office by someone claiming to be a detective, and being told they have a warrant.

They are then told to go to a local store to purchase gift cards to avoid being arrested.

If you have a warrant, the sheriff’s office does not call you.

You should refrain from giving them any information.

If you have any questions or concerns, call (937) 592-5731.
