The Board will meet Wednesday evening in special session, and will go into executive session to discuss hiring a public employee, notably a new superintendent.
There are three candidates for the position who have made it to the second round of interviews.
Scott Howell, Superintendent of the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, who is conducting the search, identified the three.
They are: Chad Thrush and Kirk Cameron, both from the Kenton School District and Erika Bower from North Union School District.
Another special meeting is scheduled for May 26 when a new superintendent is expected to be hired.
The next regular meeting of the Kenton Schools Board of Education is June 21.
