Search Warrants Served at Two Separate Incidents in Lima; Drugs and Money Seized

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team, served a narcotics related search warrant at 614 Shock Avenue in Lima this past Friday.

According to a release, during the search of the residence, suspected fentanyl, suspected cocaine, suspected marijuana and THC products, suspected pharmaceutical pills, $915 in cash, and drug paraphernalia were located. 

Also this past Friday, the Task Force assisted the Allen County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Division, after deputies responded to a call involving a female slumped over the wheel of her vehicle, parked outside the entry door of the Howard Johnson Hotel in Lima.

During an inventory search to impound the vehicle, deputies located a book bag on the floorboard with a large amount of narcotics and US Currency. 

Investigators arrived to assist and seized over 8 ounces of suspected cocaine, suspected fentanyl, suspected heroin, suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, as well as a firearm, 7 cell phones, and over $7,200 in cash.

The occupant, Michelle K. Godsey, age 30, was arrested at the scene. 

Both incidents are ongoing investigations with additional charges expected to be presented for consideration to a future session of the Allen County Grand Jury.
