Several Arrests Made in Connection to Recent Burglaries

Four people have been arrested and charges are pending on a fifth person in connection to several burglaries that have occurred in the county.

According to a release from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, on Thursday October 24, deputies were dispatched to a report about two suspicious males walking in the area of County Roads 179 and 140.

The two were located and after questioning, they were arrested in connection to a break in that occurred just a few hours earlier in the area.

They were charged with burglary and transported to the Multi County Jail in Marion.

Charges are pending against a woman who was accompanying them. She is also suspected in being involved in incidents in Marion and Morrow Counties as well.

Then on Friday October 25, deputies stopped a car in the area of County Roads 209 and 190 that matched the description if a car seen near several burglaries in the area.

The car, which had been reported as stolen, was occupied by a man and woman from Marion County.

A search of the vehicle resulted in recovering property and evidence from a residential burglary that had occurred earlier in the day.

The man and woman were arrested on outstanding warrants from Marion County and transported to the Multi County Jail.

Charges related to the burglary are pending.
