Severe weather spotter training will be held Monday March 12 at the Jacob Parrott Safety Center located at 1025 South Main Street in Kenton.

 

The training class will start at 6:30 that evening and will be conducted by a representative from the NOAA National Weather Service. It is hosted by the Hardin County Emergency Management Agency.

 

Volunteer Severe Weather Spotters are an important part of the warning process. They provide aid to the National Weather Service in their mission to provide life-saving severe weather warnings.

 

The program will last approximately two hours and there is no cost to attend.
