An overpass across US 30 in Allen County was closed after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Patrol, Jason Randol, age 34 of Green Springs, Ohio, was driving a Boom Truck west on 30 and didn’t have the boom lowered all the way.
That caused it to strike the Slabtown Road overpass resulting in structural damage.
Traffic on 30 ws restricted for several hours.
The Slabtown Road overpass will be closed indefinitely.
There were no injuries.
