Small Earthquake Felt in Lima Area Early this Morning

A small but rare earthquake was felt in the Fort Shawnee area of Lima overnight.

The US Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 2.4 and lasted just seconds at around 12:22 early this morning.

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 1 posted two videos on Twitter showing cameras shaking when the quake hit.

There were no reports of damage.
