Stolen Car from Marion Recovered After Traffic Stop in Union County; Two Arrested on Multiple Charges

A stolen car from Marion was recovered after a traffic stop late last week in Union County.

According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a car for a traffic violation in the 7300 block of State Route 161.

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu was reported stolen out of Marion.

The vehicle, a wallet with an ID card, multiple social security cards and a debit card belonging to other people and drug paraphernalia were all recovered.

The driver, 20-year-old Skyla J. Ervins, of Marion, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and obstructing official business.

The passenger, 32-year-old Deonte M. Fragmin, also of Marion, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men were transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.
