Stolen Car Wrecked in Lima; Suspect Flees from the Scene

Lima Police Officers are looking for the driver of a car that was involved in an accident in that city Thursday afternoon.

According to the report, a car appeared to be traveling north on Central Avenue when it went off the road and struck a gas line main.

The driver then fled the scene on foot.

Witnesses described him as a black male in his 20’s.

He was wearing red shorts and a white shirt and was last seen running east on 4th Street.

The owner of the car later reported the vehicle was stolen.

The incident is under investigation.
