Sumner’s 19 Points Helps Ada Top Riverdale
Courtney Sumner led all scorers with 19 points as the Ada Bulldogs defeated Riverdale 42-41 in girls basketball play Tuesday.
Sumner added five rebounds for the Bulldogs, who improve to 2-3 on the season. Lexi Waugh finished with seven points and 12 rebounds for Ada.
Riverdale, which had its two-game win streak snapped, is now 3-3 on the young season.
Reagan McKinnis and Payton Rodriguez had nine points each for the Falcons while Carrigan Vent tallied seven points and 13 rebounds and Danielle Searfoss had seven points and seven rebounds.
