Suspect Facing Assault Charge Following Fight in Findlay

A fight in the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue in Findlay, during which a gun was fired, was reported to the Findlay Police Department late this past Wednesday night.

 

According to a release, officers arrived and located the victim of the assault and several witnesses.

 

As part of the investigation, search warrants were executed at a residence on Cedar Avenue and at the Super 8 motel on Broad Avenue.

 

At the motel, the alleged shooter was located and arrested on a probation violation. He was transported to the Hancock County Justice Center.

 

The investigation on the assault and discharging of the firearm continues.
