Suspected Bank Robber Arrested in Findlay
A man who was arrested this past weekend in Findlay has been named as a suspect in several recent bank robberies around the region.
28 year old Gage D. Shafer-Haws, of Benton Ridge, Ohio, was located at a residence in Findlay and was arrested without incident.
He is suspected of being involved in five bank robberies dating back to December 31, 2022.
That includes the robbery at Premier Bank in Arlington and the attempted robbery at First National Bank in Wyandot County.
Haws is currently in custody pending a detention hearing on Friday.
