Table One celebrated Earth Day on Monday with a garden cleaning event to get ready for their official planting day in May.

The area is for the public to enjoy.

The yellow boxes in the front are garden boxes and anyone who is in need of fresh vegetables can use them.

The green boxes are able to be ‘rented’ out for anyone who would like to have their own personal space for growing plants or vegetables.

If anyone is interested in learning more about the garden or getting an application for their own plant bed, they can pick up an application at Table One’s restaurant in downtown Kenton.

Businesses are also encouraged to sponsor boxes and will have their name listed on beds.
