Teen Murder Suspect Surrenders in Marion
A teenager wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in Marion this past Monday night has turned himself in and was arrested.
According to a release from the Marion Police Department, 17 year old Ziair Green surrendered to authorities Thursday afternoon at the Marion Police Department and was then transported to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Green is accused of shooting 43 year old Ricco D. McGhee inside a home in the city.
McGhee was transported to Marion General Hospital where he died from his injury.
A warrant was then issued for Green on a charge of aggravated murder.
No other information is being released at this time.
