The Findlay Police Department has announced three new police officer hires.

Kasey Adelsperger, 21, graduated from Mohawk High School and Tiffin University, with a master’s degree in criminal justice. She is currently attending the police academy at Rhodes State College and will graduate in September.

Ryan Tittle Jr., 25, graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. He recently graduated from the police academy at Owens Community College.

Alec Traxler, 27, graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School and Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He will attend the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy to obtain his Ohio Peace Officer certificate.  

The three new officers were sworn in by Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik Monday.


The officers will be assigned to the patrol division at the department.
