The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office completed tornado siren testing in McGuffey and the surrounding area on Tuesday.

The office stated that even if residents didn’t hear anything, the siren functioned correctly on their end.

They will continue to work with the Village of McGuffey and the McGuffey Fire District to do more testing as the project nears completion.

The Sheriff’s Office will issue updates to everyone as future testing dates are set.
