Two Arrested After Early Morning Pursuit in Findlay

A pursuit early this morning in Findlay ended with the arrest of two individuals.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers attempted to stop a car for driving the wrong way on a one way street.

The driver of the car failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated.

After a 2 and half mile pursuit that reached in town speeds of up to 70 miles an hour, the vehicle crashed into a tree off the corner of East and Front Streets.

The driver then fled into a wooded area.

The K-9 unit was deployed and located Jonathin Hinojosa hiding behind a tree along the Blanchard River.

A passenger in the car, 20 year old Azlynn R. Brown was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and falsification.

Hinojosa was charged with failure to comply with officers and possession of dangerous drugs.

Both were transported to the Hancock County Jail.
