An incident over the weekend in Findlay led to the arrest of two people.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, an officer attempted a traffic stop for a peeling tires violation.
The driver failed to stop and a short pursuit ensued.
It ended when the driver failed to maintain control of the vehicle in the 700 block of Carnahan Avenue and it traveled off the road and struck a sign.
The driver and a male passenger fled the vehicle on foot.
18 year old Tayshaun S. Tucker was identified as the driver, and he was quickly arrested.
The male passenger was located a short distance away and was also arrested.
A loaded firearm was recovered from the vehicle.
The case remains under investigation.
