Two Findlay residents were arrested following a home invasion early Tuesday morning.

According to information from Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Franklin Street to investigate a report of an attempted armed robbery.

The residents reported that an armed suspect entered their home and attempted to rob them. They reported that shots were fired, but no one was hit.

The suspects fled before officers arrived, but a car matching a description of the vehicle used in the incident was stopped on Silver Street.

A firearm was found in the car, and the two occupants, identified as Joshua P. Young and Stefanie Tate, were arrested.

Charges of attempted armed robbery are pending against both of them.
