Two Arrested Following Investigation to Armed Robberies in Carey

A Carey man was arrested following an investigation by the Carey Police Department and Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office last week.

 

According to a release, the investigation involved an armed robbery in the 200 block of West South Street in Carey where an 18 year old pizza delivery person was robbed by two males armed with knives.

 

After that, the Shell Gas Station in the village was robbed by two males. Cash and merchandise were stolen.

 

The next morning, 33 year old Andrew H. Conner, of Carey, was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs, and charges of robbery, breaking and entering and burglary are pending.

 

Later that day, 30 year old Jordan R. Porter, of Carey, was located and arrested on a charge of breaking and entering.

 

Additional charges of robbery and burglary are pending.
