Two children were injured after being bitten by a dog in Kirby Wednesday.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Wyandot Memorial Hospital where the children were being treated.
A boy suffered bite marks on his face and lower left side of his back from a pit bull. His sister was bitten by the dog below her left eye as she was trying to pick up her brother to get him away from the dog.
She also was bitten on her right hand.
The incident was referred to the Wyandot County Dog Warden for an investigation against the dog’s owner.
