Two Kenton Residents Seriously Injured in Weekend Crash Just East of Kenton

A crash early this past Saturday morning injured two Kenton residents.

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Frederick Justice was driving south on County Route 175 and failed to stop for a stop sign at State Route 309.

The car continued through the intersection onto the Memorial Park Golf Course, became airborne, struck a tree and then caught fire.

Justice was able to exit the car on his own.

A passenger, identified as Bobby Hastings, had to be freed from the vehicle.

Justice and Hastings were both taken by Lifeflight Helicopter to a Regional Trauma Center with suspected serious injuries.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by BKP Ambulance District, Kenton Fire Department, Forest Fire Department and Minnichs Towing.

The crash remains under investigation.
