The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced  that two OVI checkpoints will be held in our region this weekend.

The first one is this evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 on State Route 309 near milepost 18, in Allen County.

Another OVI checkpoint will be conducted in Hancock County Saturday evening.

The location of the Hancock County checkpoint will be announced Saturday morning.

The checkpoints will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat impaired driver-related injury and fatal crashes.
