Two Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries in Head-On Crash in Marion County

A head-on crash on State Route 309 in Marion County Sunday night injured two people.

 

According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 22 year old Zachary Beeney, of Marion was driving west on 309 when he traveled left of center.

 

His vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle being operated by 60 year old Aileen Hunt, of Galion.

 

Both drivers were taken by helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus with life threatening injuries.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
