The United Way of Hardin County has shared an office location at 225 South Detroit Street in Kenton with the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance for many years.

With the recent restructuring at the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance, questions have been raised regarding the ongoing partnership between the United Way and the Alliance at that location.

The current partnership will continue into the future according to United Way Board President, Jack McBride, “The changes at the Chamber and Business Alliance do not impact the United Way’s presence in the location we share.”

The physical location of the agency is not the top priority of The United Way of Hardin County.

Our focus remains centralized on neighbors helping neighbors in our community. United Way is a locally incorporated, nonprofit organization that is the single largest non-governmental funder of health and human services in our community. The purpose of the United Way of Hardin County is to raise funds to support partner agencies providing services to our community like New Hope Ministries, Safe Haven, Beatitudes and 17 others.

This work has never been more important than during the last year when many in the community have struggled during the pandemic.

We are open but will be working remotely.
