The Upper Scioto Valley School District released its continuity plan for the 2021 through 2024 school years.

The plan notes that the district will continue to educate students in the classrooms in person every day that it is safe to do so, and they will work with the Kenton-Hardin Health Department to make decisions on health related issues.

Items covered in the plan include curriculum and assessment, facility preparations, security versus health concerns and more.

Many of the new protocols and procedures outlined in the plan will come at a financial cost to the district.

School officials will keep a close watch on the financial implications of these protocols and procedures.

They stated however, they will not allow finances to put the safety of students and staff at risk.
