USV School District Seeking Input on Solar Panel Possibility

The Upper Scioto Valley School District has been presented with an opportunity from Invenergy since the Wind Energy Project at the school farm will not be moving forward.

The district though now as an opportunity to place solar panels on the school farm.

The Board of Education feels this is a great opportunity financially, but has requested input from the community into the matter.

For that reason, a board work session will be held starting at 6:00pm January 6 in the Boardroom at Upper Scioto Valley Schools.

Any community member who would like to have input into the decision is invited to attend the meeting and their thoughts.
