The Kenton High School Varsity Softball team was defeated by Upper Scioto Valley High School 15-9 on Wddnesday.
Kenton Wildcats and Upper Scioto Valley passed the lead back-and-forth on Wednesday, but eventually Upper Scioto Valley prevailed 15-9. The game was tied at nine with Upper Scioto Valley batting in the bottom of the sixth when Brielle Cotterman tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Kenton Wildcats collected 11 hits and Upper Scioto Valley had 11 in the high-scoring affair.
