A three vehicle crash in Allen County Monday night claimed the life of a Van Wert woman.
According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 75 year old Linda Tuckerman was backing from Lincoln Highway onto the wrong side of Cool Road, and
her car was struck by a vehicle being operated by 37 year old Brian Pogan, of Pandora.
While outside of her vehicle due to the accident, Tuckerman was struck by a vehicle being operated by 26 year old David Regan, of Lima.
She suffered fatal injuries and was transported to the Lucan County Coroner’s Office.
Regan was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Pogan and his passengers were not injured.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Beaverdam Fire and EMS, Bluffton Police Department, Allen County Coroner’s Office, Miller’s Auto and Able’s Towing.
