Wapak Police Donates to Woman Fighting Leukemia

Wapakoneta Police and New Vision Nursing and Home Care have made a $2,790 donation to the family of an area woman fighting leukemia. 

Brittney Peters of Wapakoneta received the check, which was generated from the police department’s “Battle of the Beards” last month. 

Officer Cody Jenkins, sponsored by New Vision, won the 14-participant contest, which raised over $11-thousand total.
