WCSO Correction’s Officer Receives Life Saving Award

A Correction’s Officer with the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, was awarded the “Life Saving” award stemming from an incident that happened earlier this month.

Cody O’Flaherty was able to stop an inmate that was in the process of self-inflicting harm to themselves on February 18.

The officer quickly intervened and was responsible for the saving of a human life.

The Sheriff’s office congratulated O’Flaherty’s awareness.

Sheriff Todd Frey presented him today with a Life Saving Award Certificate and ribbon.
