WCSO Investigates SUV Fire

Wyandot County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a strange incident Monday morning.

Reports state a heavily-burnt vehicle was found smoldering in a fence row along Township Highway 103 north of County Highway 53 around 8:10 a.m.

Accounts from the vehicle’s owner state that the car was somehow rendered immobile by that point, with his solution being to pour gasoline on the vehicle and set it ablaze.

This matter remains under investigation.
