A weather spotter class has been set for this Wednesday April 24 in the conference room of the Jacob Parrott Safety Center in Kenton.

A representative from the National Weather Service in Wilmington will teach participants how to spot storm fronts that could produce severe weather.

The free and open to the public class will start at 6 Wednesday evening.

The class was originally scheduled to be held in March but was cancelled due to the threat of severe storms in the area.
