A garage in Kenton was broken into over the weekend and several items were stolen.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to a residence in Champion Court to investigate.

A door on the side of the garage was forced open to gain entry.

Several power tools and accessories were reported missing.

Two suspects were named, but they have not yet been charged.

The incident remains under investigation.


A Kenton man was arrested after an apartment was broken into Sunday.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were called to an apartment on South Main Street where they were informed that a named suspect kicked in the door to gain entry.

The victim said the suspect was his ex-husband and he only took sweet tea and a pepsi before fleeing the residence.

An officer located 29 year old Nathan Smith on the grounds of the apartment complex and arrested him on a charge of burglary.
