West Virginia Murder Suspect Arrested in Upper Sandusky

A West Virginia woman who was wanted on a three count indictment of murder and two count indictment of concealment of deceased body was arrested in Wyandot County on Thursday.

According to a release from Sheriff Todd Frey, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit assisted the U.S. Marshall’s Service in serving the arrest warrant at the Royalton Inn in Upper Sandusky.

34 year old Dana M. Bowman was arrested.

The indictment was from a homicide investigation in Wheeling, West Virginia from 2018.

Bowman was taken to the Wyandot County Jail and is awaiting extradition to West Virginia.

In addition 35 year old Keith A. Stepchuck, of Jamesville, New York, was arrested on misdemeanor charges when he obstructed Marshal’s and Deputies while they were in the process of arresting Bowman.

He posted bond and was given a court date.
