The Kenton Wildcats overcame two weather delays and a two-touchdown deficit to defeat Celina 42-14 in Western Buckeye League play Friday at Celina Stadium.
The Bulldogs (1-2 overall, 0-2 WBL) led 14-0 after one period, taking the lead just 14 seconds into the game, but the Cats (2-1, 2-0) fought back to within 14-13 at the half and dominated the final two quarters.
Blaine Huston threw for 331 yards and five touchdowns, connecting twice for scores with Jayden Cornell and once each with Brice Ellis, Jacob Eversole and Malik Jett. Noah Eikenbary also rushed for a touchdown for Kenton.
Jett and Eikenbary were named the Ace Hardware Players of the Game.
The Wildcats are back in action Friday when they host Defiance.
