The Wildcats used a strong shooting performance to beat Lima Senior 73-53 in non conference action today. The Cats had a 27 point 2nd quarter to jump out to a big halftime lead and continued the offensive output in the 3rd quarter with 19 points. The Lady Wildcats hit 9 three pointers for the game and 6 straight at one point. Kenton was led in scoring by Sidney Payne with 20 points. Sadie Larrabee scored 17 points. Brylee Bostelman had 15 points. Liv Nolting scored 10 points while Macee Heckathorn had 5 points and Kyla Bostater and Alexis Ratliff ended with 3 points each. Lima Senior was led by Amiyah Coleman with 19 points, Zy Scott had 18 points, and Angie Kohlhofer scored 9 points. The Wildcats move to 14-2 overall and look to build on their 11 game winning streak at Upper Sandusky on Tuesday.
Kenton also won the JV game 44-33. The Cats were led by Lyla Gammon with 15 points. Kaiden Gammon had 8 points, Taylor Barlow and Jazlynn Long each had 6 points, Kaylee Barlow 4 points, Lilly Carmean 3 points, and Allyson Rhinehart ended with 2 points.
