Wind Advisory in Effect

It is a wet and windy day today.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the area from now until 5 Friday morning.

Northeast winds will be at 20-30 miles an hour with gusts up to 50 miles an hour.

It will also be possible for higher wind gusts of 50 to 55 miles an hour.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result as well.

Outdoor objects should be secured as they could be blown around.

Use extra caution when driving, especially a high profile vehicle.
