Windy Evening, Snow Thursday; Possible White Christmas?

Increasing winds will develop through the afternoon. 

According to the National Weather Service, you can expect sustained winds out of the south at 15 to 25 mph with gusts upwards of 35 to 40 mph. 

These winds will be capable of blowing away unsecured or poorly secured outdoor objects and holiday decorations. 

High profile vehicles should exercise caution while traveling today.

Much colder temperatures will roll in behind the front.

In addition, 1-3 inches of snow is forecast for Thursday and into Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day temperatures on Friday will top off in the low 20’s.
