A Winter Storm Warning Remains in Effect Until 7 AM EST Friday February 4.
Moderate to heavy snow is expected today with an additional accumulation of 5 to 8 inches.
The winds will also be gusting as high as 40 miles an hour making travel very difficult to impossible.
Areas of blowing snow will reduce visibility.
Behind the storm system, wind chills will likely fall to near or below zero Friday through Saturday morning.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
