Wyandot County Sheriff Warns About COVID-19 Vaccine Scams

The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office reminded residents to remain alert to avoid COVID-19 vaccine scams.

As distribution begins, potential scams are increasing.

If you are asked to pay out of pocket to get the vaccine or if you are asked to pay to put your name on a waiting list to get early access, those are scam attempts.

Also advertisements for vaccines through social media, email or unknown sources and marketers offering to sell does for payment, are all scam attempts.

You should not give out your personal information to unknown sources.
