Kenton Varsity Volleyball beats Van Wert 3 – 0

Kenton celebrated their 4 seniors, Brynn Butler, Mya Good, Emily Pees and Chloe Pleasant before defeating Van Wert in 3 quick sets, 25-8, 25-12, 25-10. 

Morgan Lyons lead scoring with 12 points and 5 aces. Mya Good had 11 points and 4 aces. Chloe Pleasant added 11 points and 2 aces. Brynn Bulter tallied 6 points and 2 aces. Cailyn Hopkins scored 5 points and 1 aces. Rounding scoring was Sadie Larabee with 4 points and 2 aces. 

Taking care of things at the net were Macee Heckathorn with 10 kills and 2 blocks.  Sadie Larabee with 8 kills and 5 blocks. Cailyn Hopkins with 7 kills. Mya Good with 4 kills and Morgan Lyons with 2 kills.

Defensively Brynn Butler handled 10 receptions and 11 digs. Mya Good was “good” on 10 receptions and 5 digs.

Chloe Pleasant added 11 assists and Morgan Lyons had 9 assists on the night. 

Kenton’s JV squad were victorious in 3 sets, 25-22, 24-26, 25-18. 

The Wildcat Freshman squad came up with a win in 3 as well, 25-15, 24-26, 25-14. 

Kenton squads will travel to Shawnee Tuesday  for final WBL bout.
