The Kenton Wildcats bowled their highest individual game of the season with a 717 in Game 1. They then added games of 650 and 591 for a total of 1958 going into the 6 baker games. They then bowled at baker total of 737, again their highest baker average of the season to complete the tournament with a total of 2695 to finish in 6th place.
Karyn Hopkins led the Wildcats with a 494 series (168 – 173 – 153). Mackenzie Kugel followed with a 445 series (145 – 147 – 153). Brooke Vansky bowled the team’s high game of 175 for a 390 series (175 – 119 – 96). Shyan Cherry bowled a 352 series (137 – 140 – 75) and Kim Heberling added a 277 series (92 – 71 – 114).
Karyn Hopkins and Mackenzie Kugel bowled well enough to qualify for the D2 Northwest District Tournament as individual bowlers
They will travel to Rossford on Thursday February 23.
