The Kenton Wildcat Girls Soccer Team battled St. Mary’s to a 3-1 game in WBL Soccer action.
Kenton and St. Mary’s both had chances to score in the first half; however, neither team was able to find the back of the net and went into halftime tied at 0-0.
St. Mary’s was able to score 3 times in the second half and Kenton scored when Senior Chloe Hattery sent a ball past the St. Mary’s defense to Freshman Ellie Minter who scored the games last goal.
Senior Ruby Styer recorded 14 saves in goal for Kenton.
The Wildcats travel to Van Wert on Tuesday, October 1st for the next game.
