A Hometown Hero

I’d like to share a story about a hometown hero.
The day of Saturday, August 28th, 2021 was my wedding day. I woke up early that morning to finish the last minute decorations for our outside wedding ceremony. A little after 10:00am, I got a call from my fiancé telling me that the DJ that we had hired to provide music for our ceremony and reception had quit; just short five hours before our wedding was suppose to start. Therefore, we had no music for the ceremony or reception. I was devastated, since that meant our wedding was pretty much ruined.

My fiancé and I started a frantic search for a new DJ, all the while trying not to panic. With the help of some really good friends, they were able to get ahold of a local DJ, who luckily was not booked for that day and who dropped all his plans for that day to come to our rescue. He met with me with just only a few short hours to put together the songs we would like for our ceremony and reception. He managed to have everything set up for a flawless ceremony and reception and did it with a smile on his face.

There are people out there who are willing to drop everything to help out a total stranger and he is definitely one of those kind people. He came to our rescue and literally saved our wedding day.

We would love to give Chad Spencer our deepest appreciations and gratitude for saving our big day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Love,
Danielle and Rick Grogan
