The Ben Logan boys golf team finished their season in heartbreak fashion Tuesday by tying for the final spot and loosing the tiebreaker.

Fifteen teams started the day with hopes of moving on.

Kenton Ridge won with a 333 followed by Graham 341, Greenview 359, and Miami East and Ben Logan at 370. In the event of a tie the winner is determined by the fifth score and we lost there.

For the Raiders, Ethan Ricketts shot 78 good for 2nd place overall. He was followed by Alex Naragon 95, Jacob Mitchell 98, Trey Allen 99, and Bryce Loomis 109.

Coach Chris Conley said, “Despite how the day ended I was proud of the way the guys didn’t give up. We started as bad as we could have, twelve over as a team on the first hole. And it didn’t get a lot better for awhile. However each one continued to give their best and for a long time it appeared it would be enough. It wasn’t until the last scorecard was added was it determined we wouldn’t be going on. Ethan will however represent the school and team as an individual next Thursday at Beavercreek golf club.”
