Carol Ann Jolliff, 72 of Forest
Visitation for Carol Ann Jolliff will be held from 5:00PM till 8:00PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. A private burial will be held at a later date.
She passed away on February 7, 2019 at Hardin Hills Health Center.
She was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on Oct. 4, 1946 to the late Emmit & Eldamae (Balduf) Hofacker. She married John Jolliff of Dunkirk on Oct 5th, 1968. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Surviving are sons; Jay and Jeff (Melissa Baker) Jolliff of Kenton, and daughter, Nicole Whitt of Mt. Vernon.
Also surviving are siblings; Pamela (Martin) Migot and Susan Brent, and brother Paul (Luann) Hofacker, all of Port Clinton, and Mark (Paulene) Hofacker of Lewis Center. Surviving grandchildren; Jarrod (Shelby), Hunter, and Makayla Jolliff. Brother-in-Law Norman (Ladonna) Jolliff of Findlay.
Her brothers Dale and Roger Hofacker preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Port Clinton in 1965, was a stay at home mom before driving school bus for Indain Lake and Kenton City Schools. She attended nursing school and graduated in 1987 as a LPN.
Carol was a very determined lady, and once she put her mind to something she would do it. She enjoyed gardening and loved her pets dearly. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Alaska.
A heart felt thank you from the family goes out to her friend Brenda Jennings for assisting her in nearly all of her appointments the past 16 months during her battle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
